Rampage Re-grip

Simple enough mod that turned out pretty well - splicing a carved up LSFG priming slide onto a Rampage grip. Also features a removable tac-light mounted into the new grip. Very streamlined, very shotgun-y. I like it.

 And at long last, Damian (the commissioner) is finally going to get 75% of his order in the mail.

A look into the mind of an 8 year old

For my little cousin's 8th birthday, I told him that I'd show him how to mod one of his Nerf guns in the workshop. I even let him choose the paintjob, it's interesting how it turned out...

Specs:

• Black/Grey/Silver "trashcan"-camouflage pattern paintjob
• ARs removed/turret sealed
• OMW 2x spring replacement
• Clutch mod

It's not exactly what I'd choose to paint a gun, but he likes it and it's on par with all of my other modded Mav's (including the TBM).

We're not dead, we promise.

Things have just been slow, very slow, the past few weeks. Full time work/classes (in Sam's case) are eating all our free time. We'll be posting the latest orders through JSI in the coming weeks though, just have to get time to finish them.

Borderlands 2 - Jakobs Gun Maverick

Here we have part of a recent order that is really turning heads, a Maverick painted up in the theme of a Jakobs Gun from Borderlands 2. It came to us with a full suite of mods, including AR removal, penny mod and Russian Roulette mod. We added a weathered metal and woodgrain paintjob, and now this thing looks truly amazing. Also, thank you to all the redditors who commented on the woodgrain work, I'll try to get a tutorial up next time I work with woodgrain.

Also, the final detailing is the silver faux bolts, not seen in all photos.

We have recently posted two new pages on the blog: Testimonials and JSI Ammo Counters!

The Testimonials tab is for past customers to post their comments and feedback about their experience with JSI Modding. All feedback is welcomed, but trolling will not be tolerated.

Also, we have launched a page to log our progress with the JSI Ammo Counter units. As of today, it has been updated with just about everything from the original iteration design considerations with the GAL 22v10 chip. We are looking into the possibility of using an Arduino Mini microcontroller to prototype over the summer while we are away from Purdue. Follow our progress!

I give you, The Long(er)Strike / Elite LongStrike / RetalStrike / Whatever...

Here we have an interesting frankenblaster that was just finished, the Long(er)Strike. It is a LongStrike that has been spliced with modified Retaliator internals to finally become a practical blaster, or at least what an elite LongStrike could have been like (as it was confirmed to not be in Hasbro's plans to revive it as an Elite version).

Anyways, AR removal, OMW 2x spring, and the quick-lock stock mod (which allows the stock to be quickly unlatched from the blaster, but won't fall out on its own).
